The house is on The Gap, a quiet private road about a two-minute walk to the beach. There's easy parking for one, possibly two cars. The back of the cottage looks out towards the sea, with good views out to the cliffs at Flamborough Head. There's lots of outdoor seating and outdoor tables to take in the views. We caught a couple of sunrises, which were amazing. Thew walk to Filey and out to the Brigg is just superb - either on the beach or on the coastal footpath.
Great location just 2 minutes walk to the beautiful 5 mile beach. The view from the cottage was out over the sea and the view the other way in to the cottage was of a great fireplace, lovely for the cooler evenings!
We loved our stay in this property, it had everything we needed for a relaxing winter seaside break. Just a stones throw from the beach and it was perfect to cosy up by the fire when we got back from a walk!
We had a lovely stay. Plenty of room for 5 adults and a baby. Would’ve liked a highchair to have been available, but that was only a small issue.
A lovely cottage, with an amazing view. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach and we spent every day out walking. You can easily walk to Filey, which we did one day where we stopped for lunch before returning. The cottage is warm and cosy, and firewood was left for us to use the fire. Just something to be aware of - the internet connection is quite slow so if you plan to stream netflix etc, I would download content to your device before you arrive.
