Offering the best of coast and country, this delightful property is ideal for families hoping to explore the idyllic Yorkshire Wolds and the rugged Yorkshire coastline. You won’t need to travel far for a bracing coastal walk or a stroll through the undulating hills, with many walks straight from your doorstep. However, keen walkers or cyclists may want to venture further afield to the North York Moors National Park or the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for yet more picturesque landscapes and panoramic views. Set amongst 200 acres on the owner’s working farm, you are surrounded by fields on the outskirts of the charming village of Wold Newton, so you’ll be able to immerse yourselves in the rural tranquillity and take time out from your hectic pace of life. If you fancy popping out for a bite to eat, the village has a wonderful pub overlooking the village green and pond. You can also head to nearby Hunmanby (6 miles) which has a range of shops and eateries. As you pass the well-manicured gardens on the way to the front door, you’ll notice the owner’s close attention to detail and this continues inside. This well-appointed barn conversion is modern throughout with high ceilings and light walls making it feel bright and airy, whilst warm woods and soft tones make it feel welcoming and comfortable. After entering on the ground floor, head upstairs to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where the vaulted ceilings add to the sense of space. The lounge is comfortable with enough seating for everyone to snuggle up in front of the TV of an evening or enjoy the views out of the unique window. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, with plenty of space to prepare a wonderful family meal for everyone to enjoy together around the dining table. Completing this floor is a twin room, which is nicely furnished, and an en-suite bathroom. A further bedroom can be found on the ground floor. It’s a king-size room, immaculately presented with tasteful furniture and tones. There is a contemporary en-suite wet room. Outside, guests are welcome to wander around the acres of shared communal gardens. There is also a bench outside the front door, where you can enjoy a morning coffee in the sunshine. Or perhaps a BBQ (available on request) in the evening sun is more your thing. There is ample off-road parking available.
