Everything was clean and it smelt amazing when we walked in. Super close to my family which made it easier to spend time with them. Parking was accessible.

Definitely do not book for privacy or internet capabilities. The room have no locks and can very uncomfortable at night. The internet is located in the main house which SIGNIFICANTLY decreases bandwidth in the cottage. You almost feel like a stepchild in comparison. Parking is scary since one must park in a plethora of rocks that can pop your tires. Also, it is obvious there is a minor pest problem with Carpenter bees 🐝 and ants 🐜 infiltrating the property. Also one of the windows is missing a screen. The best part was the kitchen! Very easy to cook meals!

The place was very nice and in a nice neighborhood. The management company was mostly responsive. But, overall, I couldn’t help but feel like I overpaid, especially with the extra fee. The interior was meticulously decorated but somehow impractical. There was room for a dining area table but it had a bar shelf on the wall instead. The doors for the bathroom and the bedroom slid into the wall and were difficult to pull out, so say goodbye to privacy if you need it. Also, the whole place felt kind of “closed in”. Luckily it has skylights. You cannot leave the shades open because they open on the parking spots and there wasn’t much room to hang out in outside. Everything outside is shared with the rental unit in the main house. There is a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill, but how many short term renters are going to bring charcoal and lighter fluid? All in all, my stay was quiet and fine. It’s just a bit overpriced for what it is.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! We were in Newport for 3days of sailboat racing and this was the perfect place to stay. It was very close to everything, we had a car so it was easy to get to the dock and to the events from here. Very quiet very peaceful the washer dryer was a god send. Nice quiet a/c so even tho it was hot out, we were nice and comfy. Very lovely bed that we just sunk into and slept like logs after a long day of racing. Really enjoyed this stay and will definitely come back the next time we're in Newport.

Lisel was very responsive and accomodating. The place was clean, private, and close to downtown and beaches. We had a great stay and hope to come back again!
