We ventured out to Asheville for a weekend getaway with our family, my sister in law and her family and my mother in law! We brought our young children who had a ball in the outdoor porch space, visiting with the chickens and exploring the yard. It was just at close enough to downtown that we could explore but far enough away that you feel you’re truly in the country. I cannot recommend Annette and Cal enough as hosts! Responsive, warm, accommodating and just delightful to work with. Thanks for the memories, hope to come back soon!

Cal and Annette thought of everything! Beautiful setting; beautiful house; lots to do. The wrap around porch provides a view of the mountains in the distance. We loved seeing the chickens in the coop and enjoyed the fresh eggs that Cal left for us. The fire pit was the perfect way to wrap up our visit. Annette is very friendly and responsive. We loved the recommendations she provided. I highly recommend staying here when you are in the Asheville area. Thanks Cal and Annette for being gracious hosts and sharing your farmhouse with us.

By far the BEST AirBnB I've experienced!! The Farmhouse was immaculate, pristine, beautifully decorated. Even the landscaping was perfect. Such a peaceful place, I've not seen so many fireflies in years. we had an amazing stay and are already planning an extended stay next year.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! Cal and Annette you have set the Gold standard!

I’ve used Airbnb with regularity for over 10 years, and I can confidently say that Annette and Cal’s Oak Leaf Farmhouse was the absolute best stay I’ve experienced. Annette and Cal could not do enough to welcome my family, to communicate clearly and kindly, and to provide the best experience and accommodations possible. The farmhouse was the perfect combination of peace and tranquility, ample space, cleanliness, amazing amenities, fabulous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, all while remaining easily accessible to the best of Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Every single detail of the home, from the lighting to the wrap around porch w rocking chairs and swings, to the fully lit covered fire pit, fireplaces and comfortable beds, showed a perfect attention to both quality and detail. Do yourself a favor, when booking for a family getaway… look no further than the Oak Leaf Farmhouse. I can’t wait to return.

Such a relaxing and quiet country retreat, only 15 minutes from downtown. The home was so comfortable, charming and well-stocked for a weekend getaway with 4 friends. We enjoyed the mountain views from the porch rockers, curling up in front of the fireplace, and cooking meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The chickens and fresh eggs were a special treat, and even had visits from some wild turkeys on the property. Annette and Cal were wonderful hosts, with clear and timely communication and highly responsive to any questions. Check in and check out were a breeze. We'll be back!
