Karen and Keith are awesome! They are very accommodating and make you feel right at home . The place is very clean and awesome views. The breakfast was on point as well as the little “treats”. And it’s within walking distance to downtown. Will definitely be staying again! Highly recommend.

Keith and Karen are wonderful host who take great care of you! The Ellijay River House is absolutely beautiful! It's within walking distance to several cute shops and yummy restaurants. Keith is an amazing chef and his food is delicious! We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

This B&B is out of this world!!! We made a quick trip to Ellijay and Karen's place is top notch!!! You must stay here!!! The hospitality, the breakfast and the bedroom/bath was beyond my dreams! I highly recommend!!! We really cant wait to come back!!!

This B&B is in a small historical district of downtown Ellijay owned by a couple who recently purchased the property. Who also live in the back of the house. It is a really nice house, with a rich history and is very clean with updates! But please note that this home is directly on the street. And so is the parking. The downtown area is small and there are long waits for the restaurants. Additionally, several of the businesses are closed on Monday's (some also on Tuesday's). My husband and I stayed in the Retreat Room which is on the 1st floor. But the room is at the front of the house and facing the main street which means you're able to hear all the traffic. The Retreat is a small bedroom with a queen sized bed and does not have an ensuite. The bathroom is in the hallway next door. We have stayed in many B&B's, even some top Select Registry homes over the years! This one is a nice substitute. My husband and I were there to celebrate our Anniversary and hoping for a quiet romantic atmosphere. But this was not the case because there was another family of guests who were not as quiet and courteous, as we'd hoped. The owner's husband cooks a nice traditional hot breakfast each morning. We did enjoy the nice small hometown feel of the area! But it just didn't fit the objective for our trip this time.
