What an amazing place! A beautiful setting with clear views to Etna and the sea. We loved the house and garden with the lemon trees surrounding us. It was well worth having the chef in to cook authentic Sicilian meals for us on two occasions. The hosts were really helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Looking to stay on an authentic Sicilian old wine Palmetto? Look no further. The view of Mount Etna and the ocean on the other side was so memorable. The authentic and old kitchen brought us so much joy. The handmade tiles, frescos, pool, lemon groves, orange tree next to the pool, foosball table, and the peace of the fields made our trip just perfect. The house could be more tidy compared to other airbnbs we have stayed, but we loved the house all the same and considered it part of the overall charm of a home that is so historic and loved. The authenticity and history within the walls and love given to this home over the centuries by the family makes this place an absolute gem. We hope to return one day! I wonder if this home embodies what Airbnb aspired to be originally — giving travelers a unique and local experience impossible to achieve through a hotel. Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely family setting. We had 4 children 5 and under and were very comfortable!The place is a lovely retreat for a large family gathering, not too fancy , lots of toys and a great play area for the children outside. Netflix on the tv was great for evenings. The children especially loved the orange and lemon groves and the sheep going by!

Our family spent several days at this wonderful villa. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is the place. It has many vintage features. It is very rustic with old world charm. There are areas to lounge and enjoy the picturesque views of Mount Etna. We loved the family photos showing life in the villa from years ago. This home has a large yard and swimming pool. In addition it has a great dining area downstairs that has a centuries old enormous grape press and a library, this is an amazing space, you have to see it to believe it. There are too many unique features to list. This home is very comfortable and will make you feel like you have time traveled to a more laid back era. I can’t say enough about this villa, this was my favorite place on holiday in Sicily. If you are looking for modern and shiny new this is not for you. But if you want to feel the past and are adventurous there’s not a better place to do that than here.
