The photos of this location are no longer accurate. It used to be located on an expanse of land; but now it is surrounded by houses and building sites. Builders and neighbours can see directly into every door and window. There was loud angle grinding and hammering constantly. Builders come and go throughout the day, their rubbish blows onto the patio as the houses aren’t fenced and the patio faces directly onto one of the building sites. The house itself inside is accurate in the photos. It’s modern and clean. Beds are comfy. One of the bathrooms needs maintenance (the shower floor tiles are loose and broken). We chose this listing based on the tranquil location and privacy, as depicted in the photos. It’s no longer like that. Once all the building around it is complete, it will be much better. But it will still be surrounded by houses that look directly into the kitchen and bedrooms. If we had known that, we wouldn’t have booked. The listing photos should be updated.

Really enjoyed our stay. Louise was a great host and replied to my queries immediately. The house is out in the 'bush', a couple of minutes drive from the shops/restaurants/lighthouse, which gave us a feel of being out in the country rather than in the main centre of L'Agulhas. A great place to stay for a short getaway!
