Nestled within the South Downs National Park, Forget-Me-Not French roulotte offers the perfect place for a romantic break, it is within walking distance of Angmering village with and an interesting mix of village shops. Explore just a few miles further and you will find the historic town of Arundel, the seaside town of Worthing and the Goodwood Estate, where thrilling events such as the famous Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival take place. Tucked away down a country lane, we boast two country pubs which are situated one at either end of the lane and just a few minute’s walk away, both serving hearty home cooked food. Whilst walking down the leafy lane between the trees you can catch glimpses of the sea beyond the fields. Being a walker’s paradise, we are a stone’s throw from the many paths and trails that lead up onto the South Downs and the surrounding villages. If you prefer to cycle, we offer two complimentary bicycles on which to explore the surrounding countryside. Our beautiful bespoke roulotte was lovingly designed and hand built by Steve and Christie in 2019 and combines the olde world charm of a bygone era with all of the modern conveniences and bespoke detailing to make your stay an unforgettable experience. Forget-me-not sits within its own plot with dedicated parking and offers stunning views which can be savoured from the rocking chairs on the veranda and which look out over fields of sheep and horses. Just across the drive you will see our many dovecotes housing our home reared doves and you may even catch a glimpse of our visiting woodpecker which pops by to enjoy the woodland habitat, while buzzards, sparrow hawks and the occasional kite can be seen soaring above, masterfully using the lift created by thermals. We have dressed Forget-Me-Not with a beautiful antique drop end sofa, stunning Tiffany lighting, cast iron school radiators, a bespoke table and chairs and a country kitchen with solid wood worktops, a hob, microwave, fridge, Brita filter kettle, Dualit toaster, a butler sink, iron and ironing board and an array of crockery and cutlery. Our bright modern bathroom includes a double walk in Mira rainfall shower with separate spray hand shower, heated towel rail, fluffy towels, toilet and basin. The beautiful French inspired double bedroom boasts a crystal finial white bed with quality bedding which hugs a Silentnight memory foam mattress, gorgeous artisan painted chest of drawers,and bedside cabinets....perfect for a romantic stay or enjoying quiet relaxation time. Once inside Forget-Me-Not you can relax to music from the DAB radio or choose a film from our range of DVDs to watch on our 32” TV & DVD player. We have a host of board games, books, binoculars and free WIFI to complete your experience. On a cold winter’s night our gas fired central heating and bespoke double glazed cottage windows will keep you as snug as a bug in a rug! Throw open the double stable doors and bring the outside in, or relax in a large bubbling hot tub within your own secluded garden, where our weeping birch tree provides dappled shade on a warm summers day, a rustic picnic table nestles on the lawn and a powder blue bistro set invites you to sit back and enjoy the views over the surrounding fields.
