Our group of 5 couples enjoyed our stay in Paignton. The house was a high spec and comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked would stay again!

The house was even better than expected. We felt so relaxed and comfortable. All the rooms were amazing. The kitchen was well equipped. We would love to come back in the summer to appreciate it even more. We had a problem with heating but it was sorted quickly and efficiently by Steve.

The Old Mill is the perfect place for families to get together. There’s lots of space to hang out, comfortable furnishings, an huge log burning stove and a large well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms immaculate. The downstairs bedroom was great for my dad who cannot manage stairs. The garden is enclosed so the dog and children could play freely. Loads to do within a short drive. A really relaxing break.

Gorgeous property! Perfect for our family wknd. Cupboards well stocked with crockery, serving dishes, utensils etc. Beautifully decorated & very tasteful. Beds super comfy, we all slept well. Large dining table in lounge was perfect for all to sit around &have dinner. We’d love to return during colder weather so we could make use of the log burner!! Heating & water systems were amazing. When it got a little chilly in the evening we just turned up the dials on radiators we needed & heat was instant, fantastic! Unusual for an old property. Hot water was also plentiful - even when we all wanted showers at the same time 😊 Perfect enclosed garden for the dog. Just a few things to note…. 1)Theres no recycling bin apparently the council won’t supply so we just split, glass, plastic & tins into different black bags although it still had to go in same waste bin. 2)more than 1 car? ensure u park in right place!

It’s a beautiful house, really spacious and the set up worked well for our family. We had everything we needed. It was not made clear in the description that the courtyard was a shared one with other cottages they had. We thought we were in accommodation that was on its own. The only other point to note is that the water from the pond runs freely onto one of the set of steps in the garden as a result the steps are covered in moss and algae so it was very slippy. There were other routes onto the top garden, so it wasn’t an issue. You just need to keep reminding young children not to use it. The garden was beautiful btw.
