We enjoyed our stay in Waterside Cottage, which has much to offer. It’s situation is perfect for visiting Skye and The Kyle of Lochalsh. There are 2 pubs, a hotel and an Indian Restaurant close by. The cottage looks out onto the loch with a great view of the Skye bridge. The cottage is spotless and the amenities provide everything required for a comfortable stay. We slept very well in the king size bed. There is a downstairs bed room with a walk-in wet room which would be perfect for anyone with mobility issues. However there are a couple of negatives. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi was not working for the duration of our stay. We contacted Lee, (the local contact) who tried to get someone out to sort it but it was still not working at the end of our stay. The on-site parking is in a small residents parking area behind the cottage. We never managed to get a parking space and so parked in front of the cottage. There was always a place so it wasn’t a real problem for us. The positives outweigh the negatives at Waterside Cottage.
