Wonderful host who remained awake and available for our late checkin. He also allowed us to check out late since our ferry was cancelled. House is great with mini gifts that he left for the guests.

Visited Salerno for 4 nights arriving on the train from Rome. From apartment, easy 10 min walk to train station. Took the ferry to Amafi and Maiori, about a 10 min walk to ferry dock. Restaurants and 3 groceries stores, fish market nearby. The kitchen had a full size gas stove and frig, so we were able to cook fresh fish a few nights. Apartment is nicely decorated with an elevator in the building. Rooms with double beds were spacious and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were new with plenty of hot water for 7 people and lots of hooks to hang towels. Small washing machine in apartment. A note, for Americans, the twin beds in the 3rd bedroom are more suitable for children rather than young adults, but was a perfect apartment for a family.
