Immaculate, very comfortable and well equipped accommodation with lots of very generous extras. It was lovely to have a friendly, personal welcome from the hosts-always available to help but never intrusive. Bedrooms especially spacious and comfortable. Nice location. Quiet private road -only a few minutes walk by the river to town centre and shops-also good road connections for getting about. Hosts had provided lots of information about local attractions and also discount vouchers for local restaurant! We found this property through Airbnb and it is one of the best we have stayed in ( and we have stayed in quite a few Airbnbs and found the standards in all quite high). We would thoroughly recommend Netherwood and cannot think of anything that could be better.

The accommodation, location and hosts were absolutely fantastic. We couldn't have asked for better. The accommodation was pristine with every comfort catered for from excellent kitchen/dining amenities, beautiful lounge and the bedrooms are beautiful. The bathrooms are top class with lovely fluffy towels, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. We would like to thank Catherine and Hugh for everything and also really appreciate the prosecco (chilling in the fridge) and lovely chocolates. We would highly recommend this lovely apartment. Catherine and Hugh were brilliant hosts and their property is a credit to them. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The decor throughout was beautiful and the home made soap and food essentials were very much appreciated! The house is even better than the photos!! I would definitely recommend a stay here, it is down a very quiet peaceful private road but just a short stroll away is all the shops and restaurants in Bakewell so very convenient. The Woodyard restaurant in Bakewell is a must! Hopefully we will be back next year!

We had a great stay in Netherwood, Bakewell. The apartment was in a very quiet area but very close to all amenities in the town, a 5 minute walk. The bedrooms were ideal for two couples staying, one on each floor with very comfy superking beds, excellent showers and all you needed in the kitchen if you wanted to cook but lots of places to eat minutes away. Hugh and Catherine the owners lived next door, any queries you had, they were there to answer them. Definitely recommend this gem of a house/apartment for a break in Bakewell

Netherwood was the perfect accommodation for our two night break but would also be ideal for longer. It is a well appointed, had a kitchen diner with everything you could need and a cosy lounge. Bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size. The location is a few minutes walk from central Bakewell down a private road so quiet location but close to the town. Host is very friendly and accommodating and although the property adjoins their house we only saw them in check in and check out. Would recommend
