Great place and great host! From the pool, to the lake, to the expansive property we had a great time and Ted thought of everything which made it such a memorable experience!

This is our second visit to Carrying Place. We love Teds place. The pool is so lovely and there’s lots of space to spread out. The sunsets are glorious and while not in the heart of the County, there are still lots of wineries and restaurants. Really close to North Beach which is less busy than Sandbanks. we shopped in Trenton for groceries but also the farmers markets are plentiful. Great playground in Belleville (20 minutes) called Zwick’s. lots of food trucks too there. We all want to return next summer..

30 + degree heat…. Humidity out of control….. You come here and laugh it in the face with a pool that feels literally 2x as large as the photos look, solid central AC and a refreshing breeze from the lake that is only trumped by the incredible feeling of relaxation the beautiful view provides….. from the deck or the waterfront itself. Maybe it was the heat, but that pool area was pretty special, such a great set up. The location is so well equipped from the permanently mounted net in the incredibly huge yard, ping-pong and pool tables, smart TV, Bluetooth speakers ( didn’t notice them until day 3, check the room with the piano off the main entrance), kayaks, fire pit lakeside, ect….. The bedrooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms clean, fresh and updated. Kitchen is great with an open concept to the living room so there was always a great social feeling for the family. And big enough that if you need some personal time you can find space easily inside or outside with enough privacy to relax in your own thoughts. Not to mention just in a great area and super close to sandbanks for a beach day on the awesome outlet beach. 100% Stay here.

Our group enjoyed the beautiful view and pool daily. There was so much for the kids to do. They loved playing with the basketball net, table tennis, volleyball court. My only issue was certain areas in the house could of been cleaned better. Overall we had a great week!

The property was even better than pictured! the whole family enjoyed the dock, the kayaks, the heated pool, the patio overlooking the large yard where we played bocce ball & badminton. the sunsets over the warm, calm water were incredible as we sat around fire pit in the evening. It was evident Ted really wanted us to have a great time - the thoughtful touches throughout the property (including a welcome basket, ensuring there was firewood, and all the basic home staples!) to being responsive when we needed him, and offering us ideas on things to do. we really felt at home here, and would absolutely rent again!
