Stayed here for a week. The Cons: We were disappointed with the surroundings when we first arrived as the front yard is a little unkept and the porch could use a good cleaning. Also, the surroundings are not very attractive when hanging out on the front porch. The listing states a grill is available which was not there. The Pros: The cottage inside was extremely clean and comfortable enough. Katie (co host) is very responsive and available to help with anything you might need. In our opinion , the best thing about this place is the dock on the swamp. Absolutely beautiful and extremely peaceful. A perfect place to have coffee, cocktails, read a book, listen to music, fish or just hang out. If you’re a nature lover, you will love it here.

The place was cute and clean. Loved the front porch, fire pit, dock on the canal and the piano!!!. Convenient store just 2 lots away with great boar's head deli sandwiches. All of that was awesome but the hosts made it an even better experience! keep up the great work! I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

I don’t even know where to start upon entering the house there was an extremely strong smell of mold, as well as dog and further inspection. We found half of the McDonald’s meal, half eaten underneath the bed with pounds and pounds of dog hair. The AC was set at 80 which you cannot do in Florida with the humidity mold will grow, there was human hair as well as dog hair in the bed, which my fiancé is allergic to dogs which made the stage extremely uncomfortable. The grill was absolutely destroyed rusted out completely impossible to use the fire pit and accessible gunshots going off all throughout the night we actually had to leave because we felt uncomfortable and unsafe please please do yourself a favor and do not stay at this property.

A Suite in the Swamp was very clean and tidy. Great for a short getaway.
