Fantastic stay and a great introduction to Chiang Mai - our first visit and certainly won't be our last. We travelled from Bangkok via Phetchabum and Phitsanulok and arrived by train. The accommodation is easy to find outside Chiang Mai City and Walter and Tum were excellent hosts. It is very peaceful and secluded and has an upmarket feel and was a lot larger than expected. It was the perfect base to explore Chiang Mai city and nearby - Walter and Tum helped us with planning for our day trips. Nearby there are lots of restaurants, shops and a decent night market.

Excellent location and property. We thoroughly enjoyed a quiet, very relaxing and nude (24/7) stay. Hosts went out of their way to ensure that our experience was a good one. The very spacious room was ideal and comfortable with a fridge and huge TV. The shared kitchen had many gadgets available for use and unlimited triple-filtered drinking water over and above the supplied bottles of water. Having an evening chat while soaking in the heated swimming pool with a beer in hand or indulging in a relaxing massage by a visiting massage specialist…heavenly! Very quiet neighbourhood but easy walking distance of shops, outlet stores, a supermarket, restaurants (Pizza, Korean, Dim Sum, McDonalds, Thai etc) and a street market on several nights a week. Having previously stayed in many hotels in Chiang Mai over the years, this is one place that we will be returning to many times in the future.

Walters place is pretty much perfect. Not only are he and his wife brilliant, helpful and respectful hosts but their facility has everything a traveller could want. A beautifully appointed room, new, clean and wonderful facilities, a pool right out of the glossy brochures. Fantastic service and hospitality. I couldnt praise Walter and his wife any higher. A great location, a short 3min easy walk to a diverse restaurant and small shop district with a selection of local food and international branded stroes such as Starbucks etc - called Farang Village.
