This was my 3rd time in Tulum. I have always stayed in this general area (beach zone) but this was my first time at Casa Carolina. We invited our children (1 just out of college & the other a senior in college) as well as several of their friends for a spring break trip. The house location is great…walking distance or short cab ride to all shops & restaurants we wanted to see, quiet at night and right on the beach so you can walk either along the road or the beach to wherever you want to go. The house is large (5 en suite master like bedrooms) and comfortable. A/C only in the bedrooms from 8pm-8am which at this time of year is OK given large ocean breezes coming through the house throughout the day. In Tulum you’re in bathing suits & cover ups from day to night anyway. I recommend cute coverups that can transition easily from day into night! The staff is amazing and we hired them for some extra services such as shopping for groceries & cooking a few dinners! Highly recommend!

Carolyn is a fantastic host, very responsive during our stay. Overall we had a good stay. Location is perfect. Very walkable & Taxis are always right out front. Staff is very friendly and hard working. The house is perfect for a large group. I stayed here once 5 years ago, during low season for 1/2 the price and it was an amazing deal. We also didn’t used the concierge since I went with a friend from tulum. The concierge sucks honestly, reached out for suggestions 3.5 weeks before stay. He made one restaurant suggestion, never followed up on tours, cake etc. never booked my transport! Then got angry & petty when I told him 4 days before my stay, not to worry b/c I found an outside company. Do not use Arturo! All groceries I requested were not stocked and what was, very low quality. Also got charged for btl of tequila not requested. Make list when there so it’s fresh and no miscommunication. If it’s a good deal take it. But don’t overpay. Also seaweed is BAD in March! Beach not cleaned

Our stay at Casa Carolina was magical! The staff is amazing fresh towels and a clean house every morning! I 100% recommend having the staff/chef's make you meals, it was some of the best food we had while we were in Tulum. Every room in the house is super comfortable and set up for entertaining! I wish I could do my bachelorette weekend there all over again!

We couldn’t have been happier with the house and staff. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Fantastic house, location and support team. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We will be staying here again on our next Tulum trip.
