自我介绍

I was born and raised in Kenya which is still my second home. I have lived in the UK, Germany and now the US since 1982. I am a teacher, author of many books on African history, and a documentary film maker, also on themes related to Africa. I am in love with airbandb...I love the sharing, the community aspects of it and the whole new trend as exemplified by uber and other wonderful new inventions. I have traveled the world during my lifetime - usually as cheaply as possible - and in the past 8 years have used airbnb about 30 times in different places around the world. As an airbandb host I strive to make my rooms and my house as perfectly clean and comfortable as possible. I am always available for information and tips about the area. I live with my partner Uli and we love to meet people from all over the world. We are both busy, active seniors. We like to entertain, have friends over, cook... I spend most of my time in my office, either writing, editing, administering a program for Maasai women that I run in Kenya or cooking up some new project or other. I live with my partner Uli (rhymes with "bully"), who is also my co-host. I am also offering a special airbnb ACTIVITY which is a talk and film screening in the living room about my family's roots and legacy in Kenya. If you are my guests already, feel free to join us!
