We came here for a babymoon before the arrival of our first born and it’s a truly magical location. There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sun rising over the ocean and sipping coffee while you listen to the birds and waterfall. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was amazing to have access to the farm’s fresh eggs, produce, and juices as well. The pool was a bit chilly, but we enjoyed the private hot tub as well as just sitting on the lanai enjoying the views with a good book. If you’re staying in the winter, bring binoculars and you just might get a show from the whales too. We contacted the host halfway through our stay because the next door guests played loud music outdoors starting at 7:30 each day. If there was a rule about speakers/outdoor music to ensure the eco retreat is truly an escape into nature, we would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing nights here, we did not want to leave. Just close enough to everything and far enough to have complete peace. I can't wait to come back

Pros: The view is unbeatable! The property is beautiful with the gardens and vibe. Very quiet and private feeling even though there is another larger house right next door (the 2 technically are connected via a door/pathway but they have closed it off and listed it as 2) and the house is part of an eco retreat. Never heard anyone inside the house. Great directions and perfect location for getting away from the more touristy parts of the island and starting the road to Hana. Fast wifi! Cons: The house is older and in need of updates, especially the windows/sliding glass doors. One very loud door had visible mold growth. There WILL BE geckos in the house which we didn’t mind at all, they’re so cute and fun! But they love to hang out on the skylight directly above the bed and we got pooped on = bummer. There are no blinds/curtains for the amazing and many windows = no sleeping in past sunrise and difficult temperature regulation with the portable AC unit provided. We were always hot.
