big open plan hall - great for large numbers - we had older family with us - since it’s an older structure, it was cold - we had the fire on a lot which worked very well - we rearrange the living room around the fire. Basic rooms , and kitchen - no Frills- just the minimum - decent hospitality linen - and the grounds were stunning. Had fun taking kids to gold mines. - we enjoyed our stay. - thank you for having us.

A spacious, rustic hideaway in beautiful surrounds. Only a gentle walk into the middle of town. The house was well-equipped and comfortable for our two families.

Ideal place for large family or couple of families as can sleep up to 12. Rustic feel. Excellent large new shower ( but no rail if you are a bit unsteady). Dishwasher and new stove. New toilet. Nice linen. Can sleep 12 with king size beds, single beds and bunks, and four bedrooms. Beautiful grounds, huge lawn, lovely stream with huge eels loitering for a feed by the bridge down the drive. Big table would fit 12 and open plan kitchen living area. No wifi but the teenagers survived, and there is free wifi down the road at the Spark telephone box on the Main Street.
