We can't say enough great things about the hosts and their wonderful and unique home. Theyve set the bar high on our expectations of a vacation stay. Highly recommend this space, it's open yet private, thoughtfully stocked with everything you need and more, you can hear the ocean waves all day, walkable to the beach and local restaurant. They were very nice hosts and so responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Punta Uva and this beautiful Airbnb were the highlight of my family's 10-day trip in Costa Rica, which included stays in Coco, Monteverde, Peace Lodge, and San Jose. We're thankful that we stayed in this peaceful town instead of the overcrowded Puerto Viejo. The beach is literally across the street and has a large coral reef with a lot of fish. It saved us a paid snorkeling tour. There are cute restaurants and food shacks within a few minutes walk. There is a 1.1 mile walking trail along the beach that leads to the paved road if you want to continue your walk/run/bike ride. Sylvie and Pedro are such friendly and happy people. They greeted us upon our arrival, gave us a tour of their home, were helpful during our entire stay, and even came to say goodbye. They were nice enough to allow us to check-out later after my sister and her husband got food poisoning our last night there. I've stayed at many Airbnbs and this one stands out of one of my favorites.

Pedro Y Sylvie’s place was amazing. We were traveling with an infant and toddler and looking for somewhere we could enjoy ourselves without having to go too far. The place is right across the street from a beautiful beach for swimming and relaxing. The pool was cleaned nearly daily and was a favorite of our toddler. The restaurant La Sirena a few doors down was excellent. The house itself is new, tastefully designed, and really perfect for the beach — much of the house is open to catch the ocean breeze, and the rooms have great AC when you need to cool off. The kitchen is well-stocked with quality equipment. Pedro and Sylvie were phenomenal hosts. They responded to every need of ours: local recommendations, more firewood, connecting us with a chef (who was absolutely phenomenal, make sure to ask for Zayda), and they even bought sand toys for our daughter. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing time! Pedro & Sylvie are incredibly welcoming and kind. They made our stay perfect, in fact we didn’t need anything the whole time. But they still checked in to make sure we were good. The house is beautiful and the ideal home for the location. The care and love put into the property makes it very special. Pedro y Sylvie fueron muy amables y receptivos. El lugar es increíble, acogedor y la cercanía a la playa, hace del lugar un lugar perfecto para ir siempre a la playa, olvidándose de manejar. La piscina en medio de un jardín hermoso,muy bien cuidado, con iluminación muy acogedora, y en las tardes con compañía de monos aulladores, pájaros exóticos y mariposas 🦋 morfo.
