The house is located on a seven hectare property with spectacular mountain and ocean views of the Kekoldi jungle reserve, and Cahuita national park. It feels like you have left the world behind as there are no neighbors, only birds, jungle, and ocean, in this very private estate. The house has been designed to be open and breezy, capturing the cross-winds of the jungle. Every room in the house, including the three bedrooms, have ocean views. The master bedroom, with its king size bed and high ceilings and a beautiful en-suite bathroom, has a bath tub and a balcony with views to the ocean. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. And the third bedroom, also with an en-suite bathroom, has two bunk beds. The social areas include an indoor sitting room with an 80 inch cable TV, and a living room area with comfortable built in seating that is great for gatherings. Lastly, I love to cook! I have designed the open-plan kitchen to be a social space. There is a dining table in the kitchen area which also communicates with the main social area providing a fantastic space for people to congregate together. The kitchen has an industrial stove and oven, and all modern appliances, including a selection of spices. There will be drinkable water and a local toasted coffee that is my favorite for you to enjoy. I have left all of these to share with you in case you enjoy cooking as much as I do! The property and gardens have been in the family for more than twelve years and in that time we have planted many fruit trees from all over the world and hardwoods. The wildlife and birds you will encounter is magical. And the fruits harvested during your stay will be yours to enjoy. The property also has a lovely swimming pool that looks out over the ocean. Around the pool are comfortable loungers and two thatched cabanas for shade. ACCESS ONLY BY 4x4.

So many wonderful things to say about Agatha and her beautiful home! We have stayed in Air BnB’s all over the world and this has to be one of my favorites. The photos do not do this home justice - it is BEYOND beautiful! The house is fully stocked - from the kitchen with high end appliances to the bathrooms with luxury bath products. The beds are comfy, the sheets are soft.. everything about this home is fantastic. The outside spaces are incredible places to relax and enjoy the views and the nature… so many birds and butterflies! It was truly peaceful and an idyllic setting. Agatha herself is an incredible host - always responsive, she met us to check in and show us the house. Her recommendations were spot on. Anything we needed she had an answer in minutes. I was initially concerned that the bedrooms did not have AC but we were never hot.. the breezes always kept us comfortable. Even my husband who is extremely hot natured was fine. 4 x 4 is a must! We will be back!
Agatha's place is incredible in every way. My friends and I fell in love with the surroundings, appreciated the well stocked kitchen, and spent every day in the pool. This is the kind of place that is hard to leave. It's obvious that it was designed thoughtfully, built with love, and decorated tastefully. If you like the cook, you will love the stove! and if you want to sit on your porch and listen to the monkeys, birds, and see the ocean, this place is for you. Bring lots of bug spray, you're in the heart of the jungle! If you have any questions about anything, Agatha is always a text message away. You will definitely needs a 4WD and experienced driver to get up here, so make sure you have a reliable car and someone who can drive it.
Agatha’s place was absolutely beautiful and a wonderful place to spend our honeymoon. We really enjoyed exploring the nearby towns of Puerto Viejo and Cahuita as well as relaxing at the place.
The view was spectacular! The house beautiful . I would definitely come back to stay here !!

The property is perfectly located in between the two major towns of Cahuita, Puerto Viejo and their beaches.
There are also two waterfalls 10 min from the property that you can experience in a sunny day.
Access to our property is only by 4x4.
