This is a very nice house. The kitchen is open and the bed rooms can be locked with keys. The house is surrounded by a very nice garden, and a sloth has visited us on 3 of 4 days. The garden is surrounded by a high wall. Everything was very clean, beach towels are ready to use and we could give our laundry to Eric and got it washed and folded. The salt water pool is very nicely located and there are various seating options. There is a short walk with private path to the Playa Negra and it is a short drive to Puerto Viejo with many nice restaurants. We can fully recommend this place and would return immediately.

Our family of 5 cannot say enough wonderful things about casa neen, and our host Eric. The home was so special, serene and magical. The gardens were beautiful, the light in the house every day was perfect, the rooms and beds felt comfortable and perfect. The pool was warm, clean and so fun for our 3 little boys. We loved waking up every day to jungle sounds and to have our coffee in the garden which is full of wonderful plants and wildlife. The beach was stunning and a short walk from the house. Eric was truly a remarkable host he made recommendations and was always available to help. We loved having the personal chefs he recommended and the unique kayak and fruit farm tour that he suggested too. Our family would love to stay here again when we return to Puerto Viejo.

A beautiful house by a beautiful beach in a beautiful part of a beautiful country. Sloth in our back yard that was just chillin for a couple of days until Eric had to point her out to us lol. Parrots, wildlife everywhere. Impeccable garden. Luxurious pool with swinging bed under a gazebo shade. Comfortable bedrooms with a/c, modern bathrooms. Not much more to ask for. Eric is a great host. We’re a family of 4, and we can have many requests. Eric answered them all in such a timely way. Everything is so well thought out for an enjoyable vacation. I take one issue with the surroundings, however. There is a natural “maritime” marsh, home to much wildlife, which provides a nice buffer between this quaint (rather posh) neighborhood and a pristine, isolated beach. Large trees house a couple of parrot mating pairs at the edge of this land. Other less scrupulous property owners are presumably clearing this, as judged by all the machetes and burning of brush, from our short week-long visit.

We had a perfect stay at Casa Neen. We were with our daughter of 18 months and a couple of friends with a boy the same age. Eric was really adorable and gave us a very warm welcome, and offered to give us advices for restaurants and activities nearby. There is 3 rooms with bathrooms that are closed and the rest of the house is fully open on the outside. The house is very safe and located in a quiet neighborhood. It is very easy to find using GPS apps. The pool is clean (no security for the children but it was not a problem for us), the garden is very well maintained, the kitchen is fully equipped and so are the rooms with plenty of towels.
