Perfect for a family get together! Family flew in and we all stayed at the lake house. When we weren’t at Glacier park, we had a beautiful spot to spend time together in or out of the lake.

Overall we had a fantastic stay here at Echo Lake! The cabin was a bit more rustic than we had expected, but the views of the lake were incredible and we loved eating meals and sitting out on the patio watching the sunset. I took the canoe out on the water in the evening to fish and my wife and I paddled around a small island at one point not far from the cabin. I spent some time swimming in the lake as well which was very refreshing. We saw quite a few deer come through the property while we were there also which was really cool. (Fishing tip - pick up some worms from the gas station nearby and paddle out about 30-50 feet from the dock and let the worm sink to the bottom. I had quite a few bites from smallmouth bass) One thing I feel is worth noting are the spiders. I think we only found two spiders inside the cabin during our week stay, but there were A LOT of spiders outside the cabin. It was a bit surprising to us at first, but we got used to it after the first couple days and then it didn’t bother us at all after that. I did have to remove the webs with a branch each night before sitting down at the patio table or any furniture we wanted to sit on. Also I found myself walking through webs sometimes going down to the dock or lower deck. Definitely a real “cabin in the woods” type of experience, but that’s exactly what I was going for. Mandy was quick to respond to our messages and was very accommodating when we made a mistake in our booking by allowing us to stay an extra night. We are extremely grateful for that. I would absolutely recommend this place!

The cabin on Echo Lake is wonderful! We enjoyed ourselves immensely. We had a family reunion here and the cabin was better than imagined! I heard it put a couple times from my family that the photos don’t do it justice. The location is ideal, the view is just picturesque. And for the space it is such a wonderful value! We would definitely come again!

This cabin is amazing. We took our 6 kids ages 8-17 years old. The cabin was cozy and clean and full of light. The views were spectacular especially the sunsets! The steps down to the water look brand new! We rented a pontoon boat and tied it to the dock. My kids fished every day. My 8 year old loved catching the crawfish down by the shore & even though the water was freezing , my kids swam. We were 45 minutes from Glacier National Park entrance and we hiked there a few days. We ate at Echo Lake Cafe (just down the road from the cabin ) 3 times during the week that we were there…it is delicious!! A few things to note…. There is no dish washer…. But it aligns with the rustic feel of the cabin. Also, the bunk room is under the main house, and you have to walk outside to get there. None of this bothered our family…. Just something to note. The WiFi works great… but you will want to unplug as much as possible to enjoy this cabin! We are really hoping there again on our next visit!
