This was a good place to stay in an even better location! There were definitely a few issues that I will explain below but over all it was a good spot. The cabin is fantastic, everything is clean, the views are unbelievable, and it's got a lot of what you need to enjoy the outdoors. There were plenty of chairs, beach towels, kayaks, paddle boards, and even coolers. The kitchen set up was lovely but there are definitely some unusable pans. So, if you're planning to cook most of your meals it might be helpful to bring your own cookware. The main issue we had were the lack of clear instructions. You will receive an e-mail with 8 attachments. None of which were particularly helpful because they all had different information that could have been on one step by step page. My suggestion to the management company is to streamline the attachments and the directions. It was very convoluted. Luckily, there were some neighbors willing to help us out because they are used to seeing people struggle

Relaxing and memorable stay -location/view was spectacular. Spent hours on the lake with available kayaks and paddle boards. Boat from shore to the house was easy. Also-cell service on the island was no problem. Did not miss lack of wifi.

We spent 3 glorious nights at the fishing cabin on Deer Island. It was quite an adventure getting there - but once we arrived, everything was perfect. I will never forget my morning coffee views and then the July evenings and twilight on the lake that lasted to almost 11 pm. It was the hottest week ever in Montana - but the lake breezes after dark cooled us off and made for the best sleeping with the windows open. We loved everything and I would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks so much for sharing your lakeside haven in the wilderness
