Wonderful , beautiful & peaceful stay. Long Pond is magical . Beth & Steve were fabulous & friendly hosts . Super clean & comfortable accommodation. Hope to return again.

We had a amazing week and our host was very attentive to our needs. We arrived with tropical storm Lee and a power outage. The generator was already hooked up so we had power . We enjoyed the week of fishing and visiting local restaurants and towns. The cabin is beautiful and the scenery very peaceful and relaxing. The outside shower is amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better host , thank you Beth

What a beautiful setting, an easy walk to the water! I had some trouble getting in and out of the water with where the ladder was located, mentioned this to Beth and the next day a new ladder was installed, but Beth didn’t really like it so Steve built one and installed it the next day. Much easier in and out of the water!! Talk about owner response……….. Kitchen had all necessities needed, beds were very comfortable. The upstair AC unit kept the cottage comfortable on the couple of days in the 90’s. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the camp! Beth and Steve couldn’t have been nicer and more caring.

Our stay at Lilla Stuga was magical and lovely and peaceful - just what we were hoping for. The cottage is very private, set on a beautiful Maine lake with trees right down to the water. During our stay, we saw a great blue heron standing on the dock, a bald eagle flying overhead, loons out on the lake, and even a wild porcupine ambling along the road to the cabin one night. One day while we were out on the lake in the tandem kayak, we paddled towards what we thought was a small rock jutting from the water. As we got closer, we heard a loud splash and saw a flume of water - it was a beaver, slapping his tail at us! In addition to the wildlife, the sunsets from the dock were gorgeous. We appreciated also how modern and clean the cottage was, and finding Beth's warm welcome message to us when we arrived at Lilla Stuga. Definitely a place we would like to come back to.

Clean, private, owners very responsive, easy access, beautiful lake. House is perfect for our group of four. All good.
