Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was very peaceful, and a great location to all the fun things in and around Blue Ridge like horseback riding, mini golf (check out both places - there is one indoor and one outdoor), and the drive in theatre. It was a perfect, relaxing week the home was cozy and fun with all of the extra games, pool table, and hot tub. While there is construction on the mountain (translate: great views with new builds mean great neighborhood!) but Laura’s house was nestled privately away from other properties so it did not bother us. We will definitely return!

This was our second stay here but our first in over 6 years. The last time we were here was with all 6 children and was our last vacation with all 6. Our oldest two have “grown and flown”. Tons of great memories. Came back as a surprise 50th birthday gift for my wife. She was very happy with her gift. We recreated many photos with our younger 4 children and simply enjoyed being back after so many years. Visited downtown Blue Ridge and basically stayed inside playing pool most every night. We have no complaints other than the construction going on. There are new homes being built in front of, a cabin down and behind us. So it’s quiet before 9 and after 5pm. Get up early and enjoy the views and the quiet while you can. No fault of the owner…just FYI. Laura was a great host. Though we did not have any issues, I was confident that, if we did, Laura would take care of them instantly. I would not hesitate staying here for a third time…I just hope it’s not quite another 6 years. 5 stars!!

Nothing but great things to say. I don’t know where to start. The host was super responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The house was fabulous, comfortable, well appointed, well stocked, and super clean. And the view was out of this world. We would not hesitate returning. The only suggestion I would make to future guests: follow the host’s directions. Our gps took us through the back of the community, where we were met with a super steep gravel hill that was impossible for our suv.

If I could give Laura & My Blue Haven 10 stars I absolutely would. First, the cabin is gorgeous, exactly how it’s pictured on AirBnB. It’s clean and cozy with so much to keep us entertained. The hot tub was already warmed up when we arrived, which was definitely an unexpected perk. The cabin has the perfect location. We are far enough away to fully unwind and relax in a private cabin but only a short trip to Main Street. I don’t know if you could find a better host. Laura was so kind to us from the moment we booked. She truly welcomed us into her home. Laura made sure to check in with us through out our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did from day 1. We usually go to NC for our family cabin trip but I think we may of found our new vacation spot at My Blue Haven!

Laura’s place was beautiful. It is exactly how she described it in the listing. We only stayed one night and really wanted to use the hot tub. When we got there the hot tub was cold. I waited 5 hours for it to warm up and it still wasn’t ready to use for the night. The next morning it was ready. I wouldn’t recommend staying if you are only staying for one night and you want to use the hot tub that night. Other than that we had a great stay.
