Niki’s little cottage was really lovely, just right for us. Two good size bedrooms , a kitchen with all the basics and a very nice little front porch overlooking the bay. It was private and comfortable. I recommend it for people visiting either Colchester or Burlington, just about 12 minutes from Burlington and so much more private

it was okay. High price for rustic cabin. Was during the eclipse so price gouging was to be expected I guess. Shower curtain fell down as soon as it was touched. When I told Niki about our initial problems she suggested we move out and she would refund us. As a property owner I would care if my shower curtain didn't protect the bathroom from getting soaked but she seemed to be bothered by my letting her know of some issues with the cleanliness and the lack of curtain so I will write about it here in the review instead. Place was somewhat clean. Niki asks you wash dishes, but didn't leave a cloth or sponge or anything to wash dishes with unless you count a moldy brush so needless to say bring paper plates. Not much for cookware. A 1.5-2qt sauce pan with a lid would be a nice add. There was a frying pan and coffee maker and teapot. A steamer insert but no pot to go with it. Only sauce pan was a 5qt with on lid. Just a few knives. A paring knife would be a good thing to bring as well.

Loved this place!! Beautiful lake view. Very beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for a getaway. I would highly recommend.

This is going to be our permanent cabin every time we visit! The place is beautiful inside and out. A perfect mid-century cozy cabin vibe! Perfect for our family of four. Thank you for the hospitality!

A cozy cabin right on Malletts Bay. Easy to get to Burlington. Everything was super clean. Niki was great to communicate with. Awesome spot for a quiet weekend.
