Amazing location a short drive from Terrace. I had a weekend training at the college and the location was ideal for a 2-night stay. Quiet and peaceful setting now that the fishing season is over. I wished I had more time to enjoy it!

Sara’s place was a treat we had the whole place to ourself. She was very sweet with showing us were everything is when we checked in. I would recommend staying.

Sara is an AMAZING host! She ensured that I was comfortable and was always willing to help in any way possible. The location is absolutely beautiful if you are into nature and desire to get away from a hectic schedule and/or the busy downtown life. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely visit again.

Best place you can ask for. Everything is just perfect. Host, place, surroundings… everything. The place is located 10-15 min drive from the main town. It’s pleasant, peaceful, and beautiful. If you explore the place properly, you will fall in love with it. Also, highly worth mentioning - Sara is the best host I ever had. She is sweet, flexible, and very understanding. So is her family. She tries her best to provide you whatever you need. She just wants you to have the best experience. The hosts also provode fishing and lake viewing tours. So. make sure to check the tours book in your room. Don’t worry about the weak mobile signal, they have a very strong WiFi connection to compensate.

I started a job in Terrace before my suite was available so I had a bit of an extended stay at the lodge and at the end it was difficult to leave. Sara & Francesco were exceptionally relaxed and kind folks that provided everything I needed for the stay. While Sara’s responses to communication were always immediate, they were both respectful of space as well. I stayed in the Kitimat room which was cozy and clean. The lodge is not walkable to Terrace (for most people at least), but only a short car ride away to anything you’d need. Some highlights of the stay: - The property is absolutely gorgeous. Tucked away, quiet, and well cared for. The pond is a nice touch too - Hot tub was clean and hot, I enjoyed a good soak several times (extra towels provided) - There’s a great set up with access to a fridge, coffee, appliances, and basically anything you’d need to be comfortable for your stay - The dog is absolute perfection - super friendly and in true golden retriever fashion has little regard for a personal ‘bubble’. :) I highly recommend staying here and would be happy to return.
