Maison très cosy, très chaleureuse et bien entretenue. Un vrai bonheur de s’y poser après de longues balades malgres les intempéries. De plus la vue est superbe. Claire est adorable et très attentionnée.

Claire’s cottage is the perfect place to stay in Skye and is exactly what an Airbnb should be. She is a great host and we loved our weeks stay. Will be visiting again soon!

sehr gemütliches Cottage in Dunvegan, einem ganz kleinen Dorf, aber mit erstaunlich vielen Möglichkeiten (verschiedene Restaurants, Konditor, Tante Emma Laden, Bäckerei, Kaffee). Guter Ausgangspunkt für tolle Ausflüge. Gute Ausstattung, sehr gemütlich und sauber.

My husband and I had the loveliest week at Cuiluaine Cottage - it really felt like a home away from home. Claire has made it so comfortable and inviting, and her local recommendations and walking guide were spot on. The weather was atrocious while we were there but our trip to Skye was one of the most special holidays we’ve ever had, in no small part because of how comfy and cosy the cottage is - nothing better than curling up in front of the wood stove with a film or board game after a day out in wild weather. Especially appreciated the large bed - perfect for my 6ft6 husband and my pregnant self. Would come back in a heartbeat!

What a wonderful find! Cuiluiane (don’t ask me to pronounce it) is just as advertised: warm, comfortable, inviting and the perfect base to explore all that Skye (and the Outer Hebrides) has to offer. It’s obvious that Claire and Philip love both their cottage and Skye, and that’s reflected in the decor of the cottage. We had a tremendous week-long stay there. The cottage is in the heart of tiny Dunvegan, in walking distance to a couple of restaurants, the grocery store, etc. Claire is communicative, responsive and helpful, which made the entire process stress-free for us. Book with confidence and enjoy!
