We loved our stay at Turtle Moon Cottage. It felt like staying at a friend's holiday house rather than an Airbnb. The house had everything you could need: plenty of beach towels, herbs and oils for cooking and comfy beds. The deck gets glorious morning sun, but is cleverly placed so it gets shade and isn't too hot in the afternoon. We spent a lot of time out there. The house is walking distance to the main beach but also to the back river where we watched a glorious sunset. Carolee was a fantastic host, she had heaps of recommendations during our stay. Overall, one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We had a great week with our two kids! Carolee was easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcomed. Everything was great, we loved it!

WOW this place was amazing. It was exactly as presented and more! We did not need to worry about any beach supplies as there were ample towels, toys, and beach chairs. The wagon was perfect for hauling everything. The place is well stocked with plates and cups. The space is kid friendly with enough room to keep them from fighting. The front porch is so charming with plenty of seating and perfectly placed fans and soft light. The citronella plants keep the bugs away and smell great! Carolee responded immediately to messages sent and gave detailed instructions for check in, things to do, and expectations of behavior on Tybee. We came with 3 young kids and it was perfect. Highly, highly recommend this location

Turtle Moon Cottage was exactly what I needed to complete my stay on Tybee Island. Loved the location and felt right at home. The house was fully stocked with everything I could have needed had I forgotten anything, and the pillows were sublime. I especially enjoyed the color scheme and understated coastal decor. I would stay here again, no question! Hosts were very responsive and hospitable.
