The location was beautiful however there were some points that stood out walls need to be decorated as there was marks etc. flooring was a little wonky at stairs going up which I think might become unsafe. Flooring in kitchen a little uneven as well. Stains on roof in kitchen maybe from a leak previously. Also no hand soap in any of the bathrooms which I think should be a must for the price that was paid. Bed was a little dated and lumpy mattress. All in all it is a really nice place to relax and great views however unfortunately it just wasn’t worth the price.

Very peaceful location with nice walks in the surrounding area. The owners were friendly and really helpful. The property itself was clean, but pretty tired and needs attention in a number of areas.

This cottage is perfect for a weekend retreat! The directions were a little difficult to follow and you definitely need a car to get there, maybe the host could look at what three words to help people finding it. Everything else was exactly as expected, the host was flexible and gave lots of recommendations. The nearby town is small but has everything you need, our breakfast at the cafe at the corner was great! The hot tub was perfect and as there was little light pollution, we were stargazing a lot! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic little cottage close to Glasgow, but nice and rural. Warm and cosy, I just wish that the weather had been more conducive to trying out the hot tub. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area
