The kitchen is well equipped and welcoming. Escape to a tranquil getaway at this classic Maine cabin with all one floor living. When you can tear yourself away, it's a 6 minute walk over to the Newagen Seaside Inn for a lovely dinner out or enjoy music in the pub. The town landing is a great place to fish or go for a swim. Walk the 1/2 mile to the Southport Memorial Library where you can feel the chariiiopppm of this island community. Join in the children's story hour or take in one the speaking engagements. Learn about Rachael Carson or Margaret Hamilton both famous summer residents. A short walk away you will also find Cape Newagen Alpaca Farm and Gift Shop where you can learn all about these beautiful animals and maybe even get a kiss from an Alpaca! With so much to do, it will be hard to venture off the island but when you do, downtown Boothbay Harbor is only a 7 mile drive away.
