Lovely, well appointed, comfortable and clean cottage in a great location. Just off the coastal path for local walking plus easy access to Whitby, Saltburn and many other small villages. Two local pubs just along the road providing good food and drink. Debbie was a fantastic host in that she was very helpful, responded promptly to any communications and was around if needed. Thoroughly recommend this place!

Lovely cottage for a family break. Clean, tastefully decorated with great amenities. Really great base to walk to Staithes and Runswick Bay, and a short drive to other seaside towns.

As a party of 6 adults and 3 teenagers, the accommodation was spot on. Debbie welcomed us at check in and was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our 4 night stay. She really did go above and beyond. The cottage is spacious, more so than we expected. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and en-suites were modern and very clean. The kitchen/dining/living area accommodated 9 of us without an issue. I would highly recommend this cottage stay and I do hope we will be able to book for a return visit in the near future.

We visited with two other families to celebrate our children’s birthdays. The accommodation was lovely, Debbie was a fantastic host who made us feel right at home, and the location was superb as we really like Runswick Bay, but we’re also pleasantly surprised by how nice Hinderwell is. We’re hoping to book again for next year!

The accommodation was even nicer than we expected and very well equipped. The host was very welcoming and helpful and was readily available if needed. We didn’t realise that the situation of the property was within a complex of other holiday rooms and cottages but it didn’t deter the enjoyment of our stay. The area is beautifully maintained and a large adjacent field allowed us to play family football! The local pub offered a very friendly welcome and coastal cliff walks were just a few minutes away. As a three generational family of 9 there was plenty to keep everybody happy! A lovely break.
