Brilliant location and despite being central was peaceful enough. The house was impeccably clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful week in the cottage. Location was great, especially sitting on the harbour wall in an evening with a cup of tea either watching the world go by or soaking in the beautiful loch and its mountains. The house was spacious, and felt like we were staying in a museum with the wonderful furniture...half expected the original owners to walk through the door! Parking outside wasnt an issue (April), we parked outside the house twice, the rest of the time we were quite far up the street...with the Hostel a couple of doors down, it did get busy. The house is very well equipt, especially the kitchen. And a real luxury to have a diswasher and washer / dryer to use. The house was warm and cosy, we bought logs but only needed them two nights. Good local walks and some fabulous ones that arent too far a drive. The best property we've stayed in so far on our Scottish adventures, visiting different areas twice a year these last 10 years we've stayed in a fair few Air B&Bs.

This cottage is a fabulous location. Spotless and everything anyone could need, it's so warm and peaceful. The owner is very responsive and Zoe the housekeeper is brilliant.

Great place to stay right on the waterfront in Ullapool. A lovely base for a family holiday.
