A sweet little cottage with gated outside area making it good if you have a dog. Lovely local pub literally over the road. Car park not far but you can unload on the road nearby if required. Steps down to cottage take care on those. Cottage well appointed in kitchen and cosy and warm. Beds very comfortable and lovely bedding. One loo/bathroom upstairs. Very quick access to outdoors and regular bus to Penzance and back. Tidal pool along the sea walkway lovely for a dip. Stoney beach. We wished we’d booked longer as so many things to see and a great base. Not many shops if and in Mousehole for food shop but in Penzance lots.

Mixed feelings on this stay really. Location was nice and quiet, locals around us were very friendly, pub was close by and even in the stormy weather we didn't hear anything outside. Kitchen looked quite new and had everything in it we needed to cook and was generally tidy and clean. Bed was comfy and plenty of storage for our clothes. Just felt like the whole place was ready for a really good deep clean and a paint refresh. Mouldy blind in the bathroom, everywhere was really dusty even on the walls in the bedrooms and skirting boards- I have allergies so it did affect me staying here. Bathroom is ready for an update.

We had a lovely stay in Kitchen Cottage, so handy for The Ship Inn and walks out on to the coast path with the dog. The cottage had all we needed and was very cosy when we arrived. Beds were very comfortable! We felt very at home in the cottage and truly appreciated the outdoor area for our dog, and used the hosepipe to give her a rinse after a very muddy walk - a really handy space to have if you are with your dog on holiday.

Very nice and clean. Perfectly placed for our short break in Mousehole to see the lights and join in the fun.
