This is one of our top AirBnB experiences. There really is no way to rate “charm”, but this property and this host have a ton of charm. Sunrise over the lake from the front porch is spectacular. The lake community has great facilities including a large dog park with attentive dog owners and well behaved dogs. There are so many personal touches within the property by the host that are incredibly thoughtful and fun. We wish we had the time in our schedule to spend more than two days. This is a perfect place to chill and relax.

The coffee pot quit and as soon as I let her know she had a new one that same day. Also that I have a Shepherd and being able to have her that close to walking at the lake worked out fantastic. I will definitely book with her again and would also recommend to anyone to consider her place, it's quiet and would also be kid friendly with the swings and all so close.

We were comfortable for our entire stay at Bert's place. She was friendly and responsive when there was a repair issue, and then we didn't see her again! We were so busy we didn't get to check out the pool or the game room, but if we return we hope to set some time aside for them! The next time I'm in Topeka, I'm likely to stay here again. For me it was the perfect location near nature as well as close to all the urban "necessities" like drive through espresso.

Bert and her property were amazing! Our little family had a great holiday thanks to Bert's great accommodations. Everything was just as described on the listing, she answered all of our questions very quickly, house was clean and comfortable. Not knowing the area Bert helped us with some great local eateries!! We loved everything about our stay!
