We lead very busy lives between school and family and occasionally have time for a brief hello, especially if we run into each other in passing. Otherwise, your stay will be private. Cleaning precautions: staying healthy is important to us and you are included in that! We are taking extra measures to sanitize all surfaces: doorknobs, light switches, faucet handles, anything hands would touch many times/day. Additionally and always, sanitized and fresh linens are stocked including a new duvet cover for every guest. We are in the Cully neighborhood, walking distance to the Alberta Arts District where you will find restaurants, cafes, art galleries, boutiques, and carts full of hand crafted, locally-made goods. This is a food, art and music town and here in Cully we get the best of both worlds: park-like settings in our large backyards full of edibles and ornamentals AND all of the art, food and music you could wish for on Alberta and beyond. This house is right near major bus lines taking you to the MAX, Portland's mass transit high-speed train. We are walking distance to New Season's, the best grocery store in town, Common Ground, a day and evening spa/sauna, McMenamin's Kennedy School, Concordia Ale House and the well-loved, well-attended Last Thursday on Alberta Street, an artisan/craft/art/music/food festival happening every month. This room includes a brand new private restroom, a couch/lounge combo that converts into a comfortable Queen-Sized Bed (memory foam for added comfort), a desk and chair and thick blackout curtains on all windows. Very private, especially when you close them! You have your own refrigerator, tea kettle and filtered water too! My partner is a professional musician and I am his tour manager. We travel all over the U.S. with our little one when we are not home in Portland. Edit: we are now in graduate school and undergraduate school between the two of us, nurturing our newest passions! From there you can catch the max to anywhere in or out of town. also, there is a bike rental place in the 'hood called Everybody's Bike Rental!
