One of my family’s favorite airbnb stays ever! Just as wonderful and quirky as it looks, Guarumo truly felt like a second home. We were so grateful for Catalina’s lovely welcome and tour made us feel comfortable immediately. When we had questions or problems (locked ourselves out once - oops! 🤦🏻‍♀️), Andrea responded immediately. The whole experience couldn’t have been better and I recommend this property wholeheartedly. If you come and stay, be sure to eat breakfast and/or lunch at Stella’s just down the hill. We made friends with the staff and ate every dish on the menu! Perfect vibes.

The house was really good. It was just like in the pictures the kitchen had everything and more that you needed. The main space in the second floor was amazing. We shared most of our day they’re having food watching TV and just sharing as a family but also if you wanted to have some alone time, each bedroom is really isolated from that room so you won’t have any noise. Beds were really good that’s a dealbreaker for me and I really enjoyed them.

This was certainly a unique place to stay in a great location. The property and house are beautiful and very close to a lot of great things. Our rental car got a flat as we were arriving but, lucky for us, There we’re some great cafes, a grocery story, and other shops within walking distance, as well as an ice cream/cheese factory and nature reserve. We really lucked out being able to walk to these things. What they don’t tell you is that the house is pretty dated and there is almost no water pressure. One of the showers didn’t work at all, and another didn’t get any hot water. The kitchen is small and not very equip. It’s fairly difficult to maneuver around the property as none of the doors have knobs so the monkeys don’t get in. That being said, it was really neat to see capuchin monkeys, coati, agouti, and a bunch of beautiful birds while sitting on the balcony. Overall an ok stay but would not stay here again.

Sadly the property looks in way better shape on the published pictures than in reality. We found it quite run down and slightly dirty. Definitely expensive compared to other properties that we stayed in and the quality and service others were offering.
