Thank you Eileen for being the perfect host . We had a wonderful stay with our family and everyone in our group were so impressed with the castle. In fact it’s even more spectacular than the pictures. We were welcomed with home baked scones which was a very much appreciated touch and they were delicious. It was extremely well catered with two fridge freezers and everything we needed to host a dinner for our large family. Eileen replied quickly to all my queries. We would highly recommend Kilaghy castle and you will be sure to bring home lots of good memories of your stay .

I took my family of eleven to tour Ireland. My grandkids will always remember the castle. I hired a private chef to cook for us one night in the large dining room. It was magical.

We had organised a multi generations Christmas family gathering between Grand parents, Children and grand children, for 4 nights. It was perfect. we were between 14 and 17 staying depending on the night, but we didn't feel on top of eachothers! The kitchen was very well equipped and allowed for cooking large dinners, including Christmas dinner. The back garden is so beautiful and secluded, perfect for small children as they can't escape! I wish we were going back during the summer to make better use of it! Being able to bring our dog was an essential requirement and she fully enjoyed it. We had lots of questions for Eileen prior to our arrival regarding babies equipment and kitchen facilities. Eileen answered all of them precisely which was a great help for the logistics! Finally on arrival we were greated by a lovely Christmas card, chocolate and wine. Thanks for facilitating what we'll be known for ever in our family as "Christmas at the Castle" !

A great time, in a great place. big dining room to have a very good time during lunch or dinner. a nice kitchen with all neccessary to cook your best, and all placed in a beautiful area, with a nice park for the kids very near, and a beutiful primate garden. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to live a diferent experience.
