One of 5 self-catering cottages on a beautiful historic country estate, close to Templar city of Tomar. LR, well-equipped kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, private terrace, BarBQ. 2 swimming pools, games room, gorgeous gardens, beautiful walks and hikes throughout estate. Quinta da Bizelga is a piece of paradise on earth" - Light, comfortable open-plan living-room and fully equipped kitchenette, shaded private terrace, Wi-Fi, TV. - One large bedroom with king-size bed, bathroom en suite, spacious shower, towel dryer, hair dryer. - One twin-bedded room with bathroom en suite, spacious shower, towel dryer. - Insect netting on all windows. - Private shaded outdoor dining area with BarBQ. - Baby cot and high-chair available on request. - For longer stays, free weekly change of linens provided. - 2 pools, one for children, one for adults, surrounded by spacious lawns where each family has dedicated loungers. - Games room with card table, ping-pong, table football, kiddie corner, trampoline, sand-box, laundry room (free), relaxing spaces, aside from kiddie park. L’hôte a été très accueillante, l’endroit est charmant avec beaucoup de commodités pour les enfants et adultes. Beau domaine avec possibilité de faire des balades. Nous avons reçu un pot de miel produit là bas et il délicieux.

We spent a wonderful week at Quinta da Bizelga where we were attending the, 2023 Zezere Arts Festival that my Mum was performing in with the Choir @ZEZEREARTS. The accommodations at Casa de Jardin were perfect for our family, very comfortable, and the grounds & environs on the property are amazing. Helen met with us and gave us lots of tips and recommendations on places to go and things to do, and we had a wonderful week exploring the area, visiting lots of fabulous towns and places, and attending the Choral event in the Convento de Cristo. We would highly recommend the Quinta da Bizelga and hope to return there in the future and continue our exploration of the area. Helene, Pablo & Arwen

This place is magic! The photos do not do it justice. My family had the most amazing time. Everyone who worked there is so lovely and the property is just beautiful. There was so much for my kids (2.5 and 5) to explore. It is also located close to so many great things to do for little half day/day long outings. I could not recommend this place enough!

I hate to sound like many other reviews but… the photos really don’t do it justice! It’s an amazing place to relax, walk around and appreciate nature. The house is beyond fantastic and was super clean. My girls loved the games room and the pool. Although the guest pool is small, we never had a problem as people used it at different times. The games room has a variety of fun games and the children’s park is good for younger kids. The quinta is close enough to Tomar to be able to go exploring the city in the morning and enjoy the pool in the afternoon!

Foram 4 dias ótimos O espaço é muito acolhedor, as casas são confortáveis e tem tudo o que é preciso. A piscina foi o ponto alto dos miúdos (que também adoraram os cães da quinta). Teremos que voltar pois não chegámos a descobrir os recantos da quinta 😉 Adorámos. Nesta altura de covid sentimo-nos seguros e muito bem recebidos. Um muito obrigada à Paula e à Margarida.

This is a working farm so a car is essential. Despite secluded location, easy access by motorways.
- Tomar - 10 min (8 Km) away.
- From Lisbon airport - 1 h
- From Oporto - 2 1/2 h
- Nearby, and easily reached by motorways, usually 30 min and never more than 1 hour away, are Constância, Coimbra, Fátima, Batalha, Alcobaça, Golegã, Obidos, Nazaré.
- Excellent rapid trains to Lisbon (1 hr) Aveiro (1 1/2 hr) and Porto (2 hrs).
