Beautiful neighborhood! You can easily walk to the Castro, Upper Market, and the Haight...as long as you're willing to walk uphill on your way home. The home is clean, well equipped, and felt very safe.

The best airbnb I have stayed at yet. I spent a month at Mari's airbnb while I was transitioning jobs and absolutely loved my time there. The space had so much indoor and outdoor charm (I would say even more so than the photos can show), was very roomy for the location in the city and the neighborhood was very peaceful. It was easy to walk to local restaurants and parks (if you don't mind a couple steep hills in the neighborhood...it is SF after all). Parking was incredibly easy - I never had difficulty the whole month I was there. Mari was also a wonderful host! She stocked up the home before my stay with all of the essentials including coffee, she sent me recommendations for events during my month and she was always very responsive about any questions I had. I would HIGHLY recommend this airbnb for any length of stay!

My three-month stay at Mariana's stylish, modern, and private apartment was an integral part of the best summer I've spent anywhere. With all the convenience, spaciousness, and just overall great vibe, I doubt I'd recommend any place other than Mariana's apartment to people who're staying in SF. The area is safe, quiet, and walkable. It also has easy access to public transportation and urban life in the Castro district, just a 10-minute walk away. I had a big concern about noise because I'm a light sleeper and, unfortunately, most SF houses don't have optimal sound proofing. Although steps can be heard quite clearly sometime when I wasn't wearing earplugs, it never bothered me much. The upstairs living/bed rooms are on opposite sides of the downstairs ones so there wasn't much activity on most workday nights. Mariana was always responsive to my requests. She helped greatly when I caused a plumbing accident by coordinating several plumbers and letting me use her bathroom. Five stars!

This apartment was the perfect place for me to stay. I was in San Francisco because I had a close relative in the hospital and needed to spend hours each day at the hospital. Marianna’s apartment was an oasis for me. It is charming, colorful yet tasteful. From the moment I stepped in from the street, I walked by a secret garden with art hung and those beautiful hanging lights you can see in the photos. The apartment is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of everything I needed. The laundry room is adjacent to the apartment and was also nice. Marianna is a wonderful hostess who is attentive and friendly without being the least bit intrusive. I highly recommend this Airbnb, and I hope to be able to stay there again during future San Francisco visits.

Had a wonderful stay at Mariana’s! My favorite was the deck overlooking trees and the hills where you can get some really beautiful views. The apartment is very spacious, airy and cozy. Loved all the art work and the attention to details with the deco. Very thoughtful in providing amenities for someone to just walk in and feel right at home. I really appreciated the welcome basket along with a fresh set of things to get you started like condiments in the fridge, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. as I was planning for a long stay. Honestly felt like my own instead of walking to someone else’s space. The neighborhood is very quiet, peaceful and safe. Never had issues getting an Uber within a few minutes although the apartment is a little far away from busy part of the city. Mariana’s is very responsive and very accommodating and would highly recommend her apartment!
