Great location near Bijilo & Senegambia. I travel regularly to Gambia for my work and I think I found my perfect spot! Really best place I have ever stayed in the Gambia. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

First of all house, location and the communication was perfect! I am a frequent Gambia traveller and experienced traveller, travelled over 30 years to many european countries, Thailand, India, Nepal and over 30 times to Brazil! And i can tell you Brazil can be very dangerous! But i have never never been stolen! But it happened now in this house! The staff have the keys and they use it when you are not at home! On my last day they/her stole allmost all my money! Offcourse they accused my guest for it but my guest don't have the keys and i let them never stay alone in the house! They even have the keys of the closet where i locked my suitcase with my own padlock! Making a whole in the suitcase they could get to my money! Let leave the out door and the inner open so that it means i forget to close the doors! But the gate was closed!! I rented various appartements in Gambia and this never happened! When i confronted girl who gave me the keys she looked away started to talk with the other gambians! Unfortunately it was my last day so i had to leave in the morning and could not go to the police! I expected that they will blame it on my guests! But the staff can enter anytime anywhere in the house! As a semi "policeman" i can see the lies all through on the faces of people! Even when i was in the house they were sneaking around the house seing if i was at home or not!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Anna welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. The house is very clean and well maintained and all the staff were always happy to assist with anything we needed. The location is perfect, just a 10 minute drive away from the Senegambia strip which was great for a peaceful nights sleep. I’ll definitely be staying here again, the next time I’m in The Gambia. This is a great home, exactly as advertised and as seen in the pictures. It is not off the main highway, you would need to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the main highway for a taxi (unless you get a local who is willing to be on call whenever you need them, that's what we had to do). If you plan to travel in the summer months, be prepared to pay extra for the electricity bill if you use the air conditioner as the electricity that is allotted for your stay might not be enough to cover for air conditioning use. It wasn't for us; we had to pay extra twice, just to be comfortable; temperatures were over 96 degrees F (35.5 Celsius). The area is noisy, there is a store adjacent to the home that is open til early morning, and its loud, with locals out in wee hours of the morning talking loudly, and the dogs howling all night (nothing the owners can do about obviously), but was pretty annoying. Julianna was awesome, very responsive and quick to respond. She would come to the house very quickly when we needed her.
