Cosy and confortable house in Captain Cook. Susan & Larry were very helpful and had a lot of sweet attentions to make us feel at home. I would have rated 6 stars if I could! I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay as my Super Hosts, tended to every detail, asked about my easy check in, and communicated throughout my stay, which I appreciated. I wanted everyone to know that this would be an excellent rental for a small family, full private bedroom and comfortable fold out couch for kids. The views of the ocean and distant slope of Mauna Kea are great. These folks even have a closet filled with beach items to borrow!

Susan and Larry were responsive, cordial hosts. Their place was clean, spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was full of useful utensils. The “recreation closet” was thoughtfully equipped with everything you would need for great days at the beach.

Unfortunately, my stay in Hawaii was not a vacation, and I had to deal with a difficult family situation. I was looking for a place to take refuge, rest, and feel at peace, and Larry and Susan's ohana was just that. At one point, I needed a few prints of a document, and Susan and Larry were kind enough to print the copies and deliver them to me quickly. They were very kind when I saw them, but mostly, the place felt very private. The ohana (apartment) looks like it does in the pictures, and it was clean and had a lot of beach gear that came in handy. If you need a place to call home while exploring the island, this is a great place.
