An absolute gem! We felt very welcomed and immediately at home. Beautiful, peaceful village with extremely friendly locals. The owners are absolutely charming and were very helpful throughout our entire stay. They were very flexible with check in and check out times, borrowed us the local currency when we discovered that the local ATM was closed and were very friendly. I would love to go back and would 100% recommend it to all my friends. Thanks so much Abby and Dave!

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights. The place is beautiful and quite new. It is an extremely close walk to the beach. We had coffee and breakfast every morning at a nearby cafe, Cafe en Ville (recommended by Dave), and enjoyed it thoroughly. Abby was out of country, so we had the pleasure of getting to know Dave! He was amazing and actually spent a fair amount of time with us, which we appreciated more than I can say. He walked us through the town for orientation, took us to dinner (at Mama Tilly's - a must), walked us through the hot spots for beaches, gave us a lift to the market, and even took us to a local steel drum band practice. It was our first time in the Caribbean, and we felt very safe with Dave. If you're interested in being immersed into living like like a local (far away from the resorts), this place is for you. I recommend chatting with Dave and Abby about your interests and allowing them to help you create an itinerary and arrange guides/drivers.

We have zero hesitation in giving Abby & David's place 5 stars, & would give it more if we could. We've stayed in many AirBnBs over the years & this is our new top of the list. It is very spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, has lots of thoughtful details, & is beautifully decorated (by our tastes). We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with the beautiful view, & the lovely peaceful beach, lined with palm trees for natural shade, only a couple of minute's walk away. Laborie is thankfully (as of now) unspoiled by resorts, & we enjoyed the local life & friendly inhabitants. Abby & David are the best of hosts, giving us plenty of very useful local advice, as well as enjoying a good chat. We very much hope to get the chance to stay at Cherry Plum again one day.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Abby and Dave’s place. This is one of the loveliest airbnbs we have ever stayed in, and I cannot recommend it enough. Laborie village is friendly and welcoming, and the beach is beautiful. The Airbnb is spacious, bright, clean, and very well equipped for those who are self catering. Abby and Dave are very kind and generous hosts. Don’t hesitate to book this place!!

Wow, wish I could give this place 6 stars. Amazing host who is there for you when needed, but gives you privacy when space is needed. Talking of space what a great apartment. It's huge, with a superbly equipped kitchen for those who wish to cook. The bedroom is large and peaceful. It was cool and airy enough for me that I didn't use the aircon; but it is there if wanted. Loved the shower, in the evening the water was piping hot and the. pressure great. Bluetooth speakers allow you to play your own music whilst sipping a rum and coke on the balcony just watching the clouds roll over the bay. I did this many an early evening. Probably not the place to stay if climbing stairs are a problem, as there are about 8 steep steps to navigate but otherwise would totally recommend Laborie and this establishment to anyone wanting a different experience to the more commercial North side of St Lucia.
