This townhouse is perfectly located in one of the ancient streets of Rabat, our favourite town in Malta. It is an easy walk to the best pastizzi at Crystal Palace and to the square in front of Saint Paul’s Basilica for a tea at Vince’s cafe to watch the world pass by. It is also a short walk to the stunning walled city of Mdina and easy access to the rest of Malta The townhouse is equipped with everything that you need. The bedroom and roof terrace are particularly nice with a breeze always coming in over the rooftops. You need to consider that there are a lot of stairs. A very nice stay!!

Here is the review that we have written for your beautiful place: ********** We had an enchanting stay at this beautiful limestone home in Mdina, Malta. The character of the place was extraordinary, with high ceilings, stunning chandeliers, and tasteful artwork creating a unique atmosphere. The host's attention to detail was impressive, as every amenity from shampoos to an iron was thoughtfully provided. The air conditioning units were very effective, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. The charm extended to the beautiful blue wooden doors and windows, as well as a captivating spiral staircase leading to the top bedrooms. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and sanitized, adding to the overall sense of luxury. The kitchen and living room in the basement felt like entering a cavern, and the tasteful decor enhanced the experience. The location offered endless food options, including delicious pizza, sandwiches, and ice creams.

Brilliant location – quiet, just a few mins walk from Mdina, close to a many places to eat, the taxi rank and bus stops. A great base for wandering or exploring further afield. The bedroom aircon was essential and the wifi as good as expected in a house with thick stone walls. The stonework of the house is lovely but the musty smell and the damp in the basement kitchen was unpleasant. Old buildings have their issues and it must be hard to keep a property well-aired if it has a well in the basement floor – but we didn’t want to spend any time in the kitchen/dinner, nor did we want to cook or eat in a room with mould on the ceiling. The spiral staircase is how you get to the second bedroom and the roof terrace. I’m fit and slim, and I had to go carefully to get up there with my 10kg backpack. People with bigger bags/bodies might struggle. I was grateful that there was a bathroom on the second floor, so I didn’t have to negotiate the stairs at night.
