The directions and keyless entry were great. We enjoyed the peaceful deck and surrounding trees, and spent much of our time out there. Brigitte was very friendly and responsive when we had questions. We were dismayed when we first arrived because house had an overwhelming (unpleasant) smell of air freshener, which has given me migraines in other settings; fortunately, all of the windows were easy to open and the weather was nice, so between spending time outside and thoroughly airing out the space, I was able to stay. Also, several of the bikes were in disrepair, including both of the larger bikes, so since I am tall, I wasn't able to enjoy the bike ride I had planned on.

My family had a wonderful weekend at Beach Bum Blvd. we were able to make ourselves at home and had more than enough space for 5 adults, a baby, and a toddler. The walk to the beach was very easy. The beach was quite small— bracketed by private beach areas— but we were not crowded (went after Labor Day). The hosts provided lots of beach supplies, a nicely stocked kitchen, a binder of area recommendations, and a homey atmosphere. We absolutely loved the outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach.

Excellent spot for a weekend getaway with just a short walk to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet and we had everything we needed to enjoy our time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brigitte's place! The fire pit was perfect for night time bon fire and s'mores. It is also in a great location - close to a local Meijer and a short drive into downtown South Haven.

It was so nice to stay close to the beach. Brigitte was very responsive and answered all questions. There was a noticeable smell upon entering and the cupboards/board games etc smell musty. The outdoor shower was lovely.
