Our stay was amazing with the spectacular view from the heated pool onto the sea and mountains. Very private/quite place. Cleaning services once during our 1 week stay. The house was everything we needed for our stay. The additional cost for the heated pool was well worth it with small children during the Easter holidays in april! (Be aware that many restaurants/activities only open in May!) The host(s) replied quickly and the father of the owner passed by every morning to clean the pool and water the plants. You do need a car to get to the house. Wifi could be more reliable/fast - often had to switch to mobile network (also not always reliable given the somewhat remote location). Would definitely recommend with (small) children because of the (relatively shallow) pool.

Fantastic place and great for a family break. Stamatis, the host was so responsive and extremely friendly. The pool view was gorgeous: olive orchard, Sea, Albanian coast and mountains. We had an awesome time. Highly recommended!

Stay was excellent for a quiet peaceful getaway. View from the villa and its pool terrace and balcony are stunning. Pool was great and cleaned regularly. Car is essential as the villa is quite remote, set in a 'foresty' area. About 10 mins to the nearest town which had good supermarket and cafes. There were people staying in the adjoining villas but noise was minimal. The cottage is rustic with a few stylish features - very cosy. Beds were comfortable enough. A/C s worked well enough re cooling. All in all a lovely week spent at the cottage.

Stunning. Just stunning. The walk down to the little “private” beach is not for thr fainthearted. Take beach shoes. But it’s worth it! Not for the very mobile though. The villa is beautifully appointed. Could have done with more wine glasses and the attic bedroom only suitable for a small Child and we couldn’t use as we’re here during massive heatwave and no air con up there so bear in mind. The main beach and tavernas are an easy 10 minute walk down but the walk up quite tough going. No problem as every time we went to the mini market they drive us back up (with our heavy water!). Pack lots of suncream and high strength repellent. Lots of mosquitoes! And the prices locally much higher than the supermarkets back home. We had a truly magical stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would love to come back !

We had been waiting a long time to come on this holiday and it did not disappoint; just walking through the gate and seeing the view through the house to the pool and the sea beyond was incredible. It was truly a magical place to stay, just the perfect blend of traditional decor and modern luxury making it comfortable and relaxing. The balcony is the perfect position to watch the sunrise up over the Albanian mountains. And the little beach is just so idyllic to walk down to for a cooling swim. Stamatis was very helpful with whatever we needed before and during our stay and has excellent wine recommendations! Thank you Thalia Cottage for making our holiday so memorable
