The view of the cottage was amazing , the lake was around the cottage , it was big enough for 14 people, clean, warm, comfortable and more We had a great stay

We got married at the Kee to Bala a few weeks ago and rented Carol's cottage as a retreat for ourselves and our wedding party, and what an incredible place to stay. Not only was everything absolutely spotless and the kitchen/linen cupboards well equipped, but the cottage was far more spacious than the pictures implied. We had plenty of room to spread out and do our last minute wedding DIYs, have a big meal together without clearing all the work stations, and nice big indoor and outdoor areas to move to in order to decompress at the end of the day when all the projects/work were done. We made use of both indoor and outdoor dining areas and decks, the fire pit, and the various boat house hang spaces; all were so lovely! As an added bonus there was tons of bathroom space for the groom, groomsmen and their partners to get ready the day of the wedding. In what was a beautiful and chaotic weekend, Carol's place was the absolutely perfect spot to unwind! We absolutely will be back.

This place is nothing short of amazing! Very nicely landscaped and a great space to enjoy with a multi family group. The train other reviews speak of is really a non issue and should be worried about. Beautifully renovated boathouse and dock lets you really enjoy the lake. Carol was a great host and was also extremely responsive when we had a question or two. We certainly hope to stay here again.

Beautiful house on the water and great layout with good appliances and a nice kitchen. The host was very communicative with a small issue and was able to resolve it quickly. Would highly recommend !
