C'est un coin de paradis pour qui aime la nature. Le calme, la douceur des lieux, la vue tout y est reposant et propice à la contemplation. Nous avons passé un séjour ressourçant tel que nous le rêvions. On aimerait déjà y retourner! La maison est fonctionnelle et on s'y sent bien. il y a tut le confort. Le jacuzzi est un plus incroyable. Si vous aimez la tranquillité, c'est un endroit est pour vous.

Our stay on Bjurön was so peaceful! We traveled at the end of summer, when the weather was turning a bit cooler. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with blankets watching the sailboats and cruise ships go by. The island was very quiet and we enjoyed walking around on the trails and footpaths, discovering perfect picnic spots and some lovely swimming areas on the southwest corner of the island. One afternoon we did a clockwise loop around the island, for a total of just under 3.0 miles. It was lovely! The cabin was well equipped. It has comfortable beds and cozy blankets. The view is amazing! At sunset, we enjoyed the hot tub. It was a bit too cool for us to eat outside but we enjoyed sitting at the dining table for our meals, which again had an incredible view. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals. Pär was so helpful and gave us great information and guidance getting to and from the island. Our travel dates happened just after the Waxholmsbolaget autumn timetables went into effect, which meant that there were fewer ferries going to/from the island each day. On our arrival day, we decided to take the Waxholm Water Taxi A/B from Vaxholm. This is a charter type of service where you reserve the boat in advance for direct travel. At first we couldn't figure out how to call the number (we had our US cell phones and the calls weren't going through). We messaged Pär on the Airbnb app and he quickly responded, letting us know how to make an international call (add +46 to the number and drop the leading "0" from the Swedish number). The ferry ride cost about $90 USD for the 20 minute ride but he dropped us off right at the cabin. Pär met us at the jetty and got us all settled. During our stay, we took a daytrip to Vaxholm for a little more grocery shopping and sightseeing (we rented bikes and rode around Vaxholm). That day, which was a Friday, there were more ferry option on Waxholmsbolaget so we had an easy (and less expensive) round trip. On our departure day, we also took the Waxholmsbolaget but this time took it all the way back to Stockholm.

Can I leave 6 stars… Fantastic, wonderful place. Gorgeous hot tub and superb views from every room and balcony. Despite being on an island, we had all the mod cons. The location was just wonderful and we had the most wonderful week as a family. Thank you!

Amazing house with a fantastic view on the stockholm archipelago. Pär and Felicia are really nice, quick to answer and responsive. We warmly recommend if you want to have peaceful holidays.

We just came back from the most amazing week-long stay here and we already miss the breathtaking view from literally every spot around and in the house, the whirlpool and the evening bbqs on the super-sunny terrace. Pär and Felicia were the most helpful and nicest hosts, always there to answer our million questions or help us out with whatever we needed. It’s the perfect place to relax for a while and we definitely want to come back.
