Close to the cultural centre, spacious without frills. Ideal for our requirements.

There was a bad smell in the apartment and the bathrooms weren’t that clean, it made us feel like we couldn’t trust the cleanliness. There were someone else’s cups in the dishwasher. The hallway carpet was very stained but the hallway didn’t smell until you opened the door into the apartment. The location is excellent though to get to restaurants and QPAC, and the rooftop had beautiful views of the city.

I could have been given 5 stars to this place. I didn't have a single issue during my stay and found the apartment as immaculate and clean as expected. The reason for the low rating is the fact that, we found out upon arrival that the apartment is owned by a company, Sungrass, that manages several apartments in the same building and other properties around the city. I find that going against the core values and purpose of what Airbnb was created for, which was to share rooms and places between individuals. What is going on here is a company using Airbnb as a travel agency and, while Airbnb might now allow that, that is not what I would go to that website for, nor I find fair that individuals need to compete with companies to get their extra earnings.
